BOOK

Eye Tracking Diagnostics for Urban Renewal
Chen Zheng et al.

isbn: 978-7-5765-0460-6

Tongji University Press

Eye-tracking technology offers the possibility of probing part of the user's mental activity like a high-powered microscope. As a precision instrument that tracks the movement and size change of the human eye's pupil position at the millisecond level, it provides a peerable tool for understanding environmental cognitive processes.

This book attempts to use eye-tracking technology to create a "slow-motion" lens that allows a closer look at the formation of behaviors and feelings, helping readers understand how the design of specific spatial environments affects the allocation of people's attention, so as to speculate on the possible causes of spatial behaviors and feelings and to assist in design decisions.
