Call for Papers | "Neuroscience Enabling Human-Centered Engineering Project Management Research" in Project Management Technology

special topicsolicit contributions (to a publication)

The engineering construction industry is undergoing a major strategic transformation from rough to lean and high-quality development, which puts forward brand-new needs and challenges for the engineering project management industry, and in turn pushes the management practice to change to the concept of "people-centeredness". The study of "people-oriented" engineering project management is to take engineering as a carrier during the whole life cycle of engineering projects, starting from the scientific identification of people's needs for engineering, and carrying out engineering construction and operation activities centered on people, and finally realizing the maximized value management activities of engineering services for people. However, the mechanism of human behavior, decision-making and psychology is deeply rooted in the black box of the brain during cognitive processing, which is difficult to be accurately, objectively and real-time quantitatively measured through questionnaires. In order to realize "human-centered" engineering project management research, there is an urgent need to introduce a new empirical research paradigm that can crack the black box of the brain. In recent years, the development and improvement of technologies and theories in the fields of cognitive neuroscience, brain science and computer science have provided strong support for the research paradigm at the level of experimental technology and basic theory.

In order to share the latest achievements in the field of neuroscience-enabled human-centered engineering project management, to widely carry out academic exchanges, and to further discuss the future direction and cutting-edge scientific issues in this field, Project Management Technology is calling for excellent papers in the field of "Neuroscience-enabled human-centered engineering project management", and invites all scholars to submit their contributions.
