In the face of this sudden "disaster", the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, Guangdong Transportation Group, together with Jiangmen, Zhuhai, the city's multi-departmental rapid response, a life-and-death rescue operation was immediately launched.

In this exercise, the Smart BCI NIR EEG device introduced by the team of Ms. Yang Yubing and Mr. Chen Xingbin from South China Agricultural University added a touch of color to the rescue operation. The device utilizes advanced near-infrared spectroscopy technology to monitor the brain activity status of the trapped person and the rescuer in real time, to quickly assess the level of consciousness and psychological state, and to provide a scientific basis for rescue decision-making.

For the trapped personnel with minor injuries but large emotional fluctuations, the equipment analyzes the changes in their brain waves to provide timely psychological intervention suggestions, effectively alleviating panic and promoting the smooth progress of the rescue process. At the same time, the real-time monitoring of personnel involved in the rescue to prevent psychological fatigue or stress caused by high-intensity operations, to ensure that the rescue team always maintains the best state.

Multi-party linkage to build a common security defense 

This drill is not only a comprehensive test of the emergency rescue capability of the operating units of Huangmaohai Cross-Harbour Passage and the relevant functional departments of the local government, but also a vivid practice of the joint rescue mechanism of "all the way to three parties, 12 departments".
