I. Notification of the Conference

Industrial design continues to change and promote industrial upgrading, and takes on different forms in different times, countries and regions. Development is the eternal theme of all disciplines and specialties, and so is industrial design. At present, China is focusing on promoting high-quality development, advancing new industrialization, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and continuously forming a new development pattern. Industrial design, as one of the important innovative forces, is an important driver for the development of the national economy and the strategy of cultural power. At the same time, the rapid development of digitization and intelligence has also brought about deep changes in the industrial industry and design education.

In 2023, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative, how to better promote the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road", serve the Chinese-style modernization and industrial system, implement the strategy of rural revitalization and the strategy of innovation-driven development, and help the development of the western region has become an important issue in the development of industrial design. This annual conference will systematically and deeply discuss: the connotation and extension of industrial design, the industrial design system that meets the needs of the society and the times, the design innovation method and creation system based on the mutual integration and symbiosis of cultures, and the construction of the development path of China's industrial design with "Chinese characteristics and characteristics of the times".

"Human Factors Technology in Industrial Design Research."

in the first placeNowadays, the application of neural technology in social sciences has been quite common, and the use of neuroscience knowledge to fine-tune the measurement of human factors in industrial design research has become a hot demand among scholars, and human psychological factors will have a crucial impact on the innovative development of industrial design research, this workshop aims to convey the knowledge of human factors engineering and the related experience of experimental design to colleagues, the workshop will provide training on commonly used human factors experimental equipment and case sharing to share the prospect of the application of human factors equipment in industrial design with you. The workshop will provide training on human factors experimental instruments and equipment commonly used in industrial design, share case studies on the application of human factors equipment in industrial design, and share with you the prospect of the application of human factors equipment in industrial design research.

Secondlyby TsinghuaProf. Changxu Wu and Dr. Zikai Wei shared the topic of "Human Cognitive and Behavioral Modeling and Its Application to Human-Machine System Design".Beginning with an introduction to the main methods and models for modeling human cognition and behavior and an analysis of their main research hypotheses;This is followed by a practical guide to modeling human cognition and behavior, including a general overview of modeling methods, modeling and simulation of typical tasks, and applications in human-computer system design.Finally, human cognitive and behavioral modeling article writing essentials and experiences will be shared, and Professor Wu Changxu's many years of research experience will be shared to provide practical advice for excellent article writing.

Workshop Presenter:

Wu Changxu, Director of the Future Human Factors Research Laboratory, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University, former Director of the Cognitive Systems Laboratory at the University of Arizona, Executive Chairman of the International Chinese Human Ergonomics Association, and Chairman of the Technical Specialty Committee on Human Performance Modeling of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) in the United States.

Zikai Wei, Department of Industrial Engineering, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Shihezi University, Lecturer, Ph.D. in progress at Tsinghua University, has published 3 retrieved papers in the past three years, presided over 1 university-level scientific research project, 3 educational and teaching projects, and participated in a number of national natural funds, Corps of Finance Science and Technology Program projects, and lateral projects, etc. His research interests are human-computer interaction and mathematical modeling of human behavior.

Shan Keqiu, Theoretical Consultant of Beijing Hengzhi Technology Co., Ltd, has a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Dublin and possesses a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical ability in psychology. She is able to apply the theoretical knowledge of psychology to provide comprehensive solutions for schools through data analysis and case studies.

Can Jin, Technical Engineer of Beijing Hengzhi Technology Co., Ltd, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Science in Cognitive Psychology, participated in many experimental projects as the main experiment during his master's degree, and is good at designing psychological experiments and has the ability to deal with various situations in the experiments. He is skilled in the principle and acquisition of neuroscience equipment such as EEG, eye movement, NIR, etc., and has rich experience in the analysis of neurophysiological data.
