Function Introduction
Step-time phase parameter analysis
Gait temporal analysis is an easy-to-use assessment method for orthopedic and neurological patients to objectively assess patient mobility and treatment outcomes.
Plantar pressure analysis
P-WALK performs plantar pressure distribution and force analysis in resting posture and walking, and can quantify plantar overload, rotation and postural symmetry during the support phase in resting posture and walking.
Stationary posture analysis
The patient's balance is assessed by analyzing the position of the center of pressure; quantifying the patient's body sway in a standing position.
The P-WALK allows for static postural assessment in both open and closed eye situations. Thus the effects of vision, vestibular sensation, and proprioception on balance can be assessed.
If a single leg support test is performed, the proprioceptor function of the osteoarticular structures can be assessed.
