E-Prime Stimulus Presentation Software

E-Prime software developed by PST, Inc. is a set of computerized experiment design, generation and operation software for psychological and behavioral experiments. For more information, please contact us at 010-53352947

E-Prime software developed by PST USA is a set of computerized experiment design, generation and running software for psychological and behavioral experiments. E-Prime allows you to design experiments by simply selecting the desired experimental function icon and dragging the icon into the experimental program with the mouse to create complex experimental programs in a very short period of time. Experiments designed and run with E-Prime have millisecond precision for stimulus presentation and feedback signals.
E-Prime can present stimuli as text, images, video and sound (any combination of stimuli can be presented), provides detailed temporal information and event details (including presentation time, reaction time, keystroke values, etc.), and can be exported as raw data in text format for further analysis. E-Prime is easy to learn and use, powerful and fast and accurate for experiment generation.
E-Prime is the most comprehensive software available for behavioral research. Build your own experiments with E-Prime's easy-to-use graphical interface. Design, collect and analyze data - all in a matter of hours! E-Prime is the world's leading behavioral experimentation software with over 100,000 users in research institutions and laboratories in over 60 countries. E-Prime provides a truly easy-to-use environment for computerized experimental design, data collection, and analysis. E-Prime provides millisecond precision timing to ensure the accuracy of your data. E-Prime's flexibility to create simple to complex experiments is ideal for novice and advanced users.

Drag-and-drop design

Build experiments with text, images, sound, and video by dragging and dropping objects onto the timeline. Take advantage of the free templates and pre-built experiments in the Experiment Library.

Timing accuracy

E-Prime 3.0 reports timing accuracy to the millisecond accuracy level. Be sure to use specialized testing tools to confirm that your computer hardware is capable of critical timing. Add Chronos to your study setup to verify display display times, obtain millisecond participant response, and millisecond sound start times.

Infinite data collection

Collect unlimited data with E-Run and E-Prime Go! E-Studio provides descriptive menus and intuitive data logging options. E-DataAid provides tools for filtering, analyzing and exporting data.

Hardware Integration

Use task events to send and receive triggers via Chronos, sockets, serial or parallel ports. Easily connect to a variety of EEG, fNIRS and physiological devices using Chronos adapters to send and receive digital triggers.

Dedicated support team

A dedicated team of technical consultants is available to help you with lab setup, troubleshooting, and best practice tips.

Scripts for beginners and professionals

E-Prime's scripting language, E-Basic, adds flexibility and control to experiments. Dozens of resources are provided so that even users with no scripting experience can take advantage of this powerful feature.

E-Prime Go

Remote Data Collection Free for E-Prime 3.0 Users

Pack your experiments, share links, and download your data.
E-Prime Go is now available for E-Prime 3.0 users! You can host your experiments on the site and share the link with your participants.
After participants complete the experiment, their data will be automatically uploaded to your account. To access E-Prime Go, simply register your E-Prime 3.0 serial number on the support site to download the E-Prime Go application.(Please contact us for purchase)
Verify machine specifications and times
If you want to analyze response time data, it is recommended that you confirm that the machine meets the minimum E-Prime 3.0 requirements.
Tips for confirming machine specifications and times.
● PST provides a quick verification application to confirm that the PC meets the minimum requirements of E-Prime 3.0.
● An Experimental Advisor Report (EAR) will be generated for each lab session. This file will be included in the session file that is uploaded to your account. The EAR contains detailed information about the participant's machine, including device information and other applications running with the experiment.
● E-Prime Go has a "Collect DirectX diagnostic information" checkbox, which will generate a dxdiag.txt file. If collected, this file will provide you with detailed information about the software and hardware environment of the participant's machine, and will be uploaded to the session file of your account.
● To verify machine timing, insert the InLine object of the sample script (KB35028: E-Prime Go timing information) into your experiment.
