Psychological rehabilitation is an important part of the modern mental health service system and a core component of the modern rehabilitation service system; it is a cross-cutting area between modern rehabilitation services and mental health services, and is multidisciplinary and cross-cutting in nature. The development of psychological rehabilitation services is a major strategic initiative to promote the realization of the goals of "Healthy China 2030". Since its establishment, the Professional Committee on Rehabilitation Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Association, under the guidance of the national mental health strategy and the rehabilitation strategy, has united all its members, penetrated into the front line of the practice of psychosocial rehabilitation services, and played an important role in the promotion of mental health for all.
In order to further promote the construction of the discipline of Rehabilitation Psychology, to promote the development of psychological rehabilitation practice, and to build a psychological rehabilitation service system adapted to China's national conditions, the Professional Committee of Rehabilitation Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Association (CPA) is scheduled to hold the 2023 Academic Annual Conference and the Annual Working Meeting of the Committee in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China, from November 17th to November 19th, 2023. This conference is sponsored by the Committee of Rehabilitation Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Association and organized by the World Health Organization International Classification Family Cooperation Center and Weifang Medical College. The organizing committee of the conference invites famous experts and scholars to give keynote speeches and divides them into different sub-forums according to their professional fields, so as to jointly discuss and share the theories, methodologies and practical experiences of contemporary rehabilitation psychology.
