On December 1, 2024, the Human Factors Workshop 2024 (Harbin Station) was grandly opened in Harbin Institute of Technology. This workshop is jointly organized by the School of Mechanical Power Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Best Technology Co., Ltd, Wuhan Human Factors Engineering Technology Research Institute and Guangdong Human Factors Technology Research Institute, and undertaken by the Department of Industrial Design of the School of Mechanical Power Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology. The activity focuses on the application of neuroscience equipment in industrial design and other fields, and is committed to building a cutting-edge communication platform between teachers and students of colleges and universities, enterprise experts and researchers, and promoting the deep integration of industry, academia and research, which has received wide attention from the industry.

Afterwards, President Zhang Yuan delivered a speech, emphasizing that human factors engineering is crucial to the development of industrial design, and is the core element to enhance the user experience of products. This workshop is a rare opportunity to learn and improve, and participants are expected to grasp the opportunity, actively communicate, and be innovative, so as to inject new vitality into industrial design.

In the lecture session, the theoretical consultant of Beijing Hengzhi Technology Co., Ltd. delivered a lecture, in which the engineer started from the basic knowledge and working principle of the equipment, and analyzed the mystery of neuroscience equipment in an in-depth and simple way. From electroencephalogram, eye movement to near infrared brain function imaging technology, from hardware architecture to software algorithm, from signal acquisition to data conversion, the lecture was very detailed, which made the teachers and students form a clear cognitive framework of the complex technical principles, and built a solid foundation for the subsequent in-depth study.
