On November 15-16, 2025, the 7th China Innovation Development Summit Forum, with the theme of "AI+ Enabling Innovation and Development of High-Tech Industries", was grandly opened at the Zhongguancun Campus of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Beijing. The forum opened with the solemn national anthem. Mr. Zhao Zhensheng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Association for the Promotion of High-Tech Industries, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.

In her report "Efficient Material Transformation by Integration of Natural and Artificial", Wu Lizhu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and researcher at the Institute of Physics and Chemistry Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, discussed in depth the complementarity and integration of the natural and artificial systems in the process of material transformation by means of typical cases such as the enhancement of photosynthesis efficiency and the realization of microorganisms' photosynthetic autotrophicity. Yang Zhiming, a special researcher of the Counselor's Office of the State Council and former deputy secretary of the Party Group and vice minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, in his report on "Digitally Enabling the Innovation and Development of Highly Skilled Talents with High Technology", analyzed in-depth the three major trending changes in the development of talents in the era of the digital economy and put forward the five paths to accelerate the innovation of AI-empowered talents. He emphasized that "the data economy has become the leading force of the scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, and has profoundly changed the way of configuring the innovation and development of high-tech and high-skilled talents."
