I. Introduction to the conference

Promoting the physical and mental health and all-round development of students is a major issue of concern to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a matter of concern to the people, and a matter of social concern. The Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, attaches great importance to and cares about the mental health and growth and development of students, and puts forward the need to "emphasize mental health and mental hygiene" in the report of the 20th Party Congress. Therefore, in order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the Special Action Plan for Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving the Mental Health of Students in the New Era (2023-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Special Action Plan) by the Ministry of Education and other seventeen departments, and to realize and achieve the overall goal of the Special Action Plan for Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving the Mental Health of Primary and Secondary School Students in the New Era (2023-2025) by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, we are going to implement the following measures In order to comprehensively strengthen and improve the mental health work of students in the new era, the Jilin Psychological Association proposes to hold the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Jilin Psychological Association and the Academic Symposium on "Strengthening and Improving the Mental Health Work of Students in the New Era" in Yanji, Jilin, from December 6 to December 8, 2024, which will focus on six basic tasks in the Special Action Plan, from theories to theories, and from theories to theories, and from theories to theories. The conference will focus on the six basic tasks of the Special Action Plan, discuss the integration of mental health education in large, medium and small schools in terms of theory and practice, promote the construction of a scientific, systematic, articulated and orderly mental health education system, and enhance the relevance and effectiveness of mental health education.
