The 12th International Chinese Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (Chinese CHI 2024) was held in Shenzhen Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) from November 22nd to 25th, with the theme of "Innovation-Creation-Integration", aiming at exploring the value of innovative technologies in the field of human-computer interaction in the perspective of the development of new quality productivity. This is the first time that the conference has been held in Shenzhen.The conference brought together more than 60 experts, scholars and industry leaders from China, Singapore, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, the United States and Canada, and was attended by more than 500 students and faculty members from national and international universities, as well as some industry representatives. A total of 145 long papers were received and 48 were accepted.This conference is jointly organized by the World Chinese Overseas Chinese Association for Human-Computer Interaction (ICACHI) and the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), and hosted by the School of Innovation and Creative Design of SUSTech.Beijing Hengzhi Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the conference as a supporting organization.ICACHI has successfully organized eleven Chinese CHI conferences since 2012, which is an important communication platform for global Chinese HCI scholars, academia, and industry, and also a bridge connecting the international HCI community with the booming Chinese computer, artificial intelligence, design, and digital industries.
