Von Te established the world's first psychology laboratory at the University of Leipzig, Germany, in 1879, marking the birth of scientific psychology, and the laboratory and experimental technology have become the core driving force for the development of psychology, scientific research and talent training. The report of the 20th CPC National Congress for the first time put education, science and technology, and human resources into a comprehensive arrangement and deployment, further demonstrating the great importance that the state attaches to the cause of education, science and technology, and human resources. In order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, comprehensively improve the quality of independent cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, give full play to the role of laboratories as an important position for enhancing students' scientific spirit, practical ability and innovative consciousness, carry out in-depth research on experimental technology, experimental teaching and laboratory construction empowered by the digital transformation of education, and continuously improve the level of laboratory construction and management, we have been promoting scientific research in psychology and the cultivation of talents. To promote the leaping development of scientific research and talent cultivation in psychology, the First National Symposium on the Construction and Management of Psychology Laboratories in Colleges and Universities and Experimental Teaching of Psychology is hereby organized.
