In his speech, Yang Bin, Dean of the School of Energy and Safety Engineering of Tianjin Urban Construction University, depicted the grand development blueprint of the laboratory. He mentioned that the Joint Laboratory of Urban Human Factors Engineering relies on a number of colleges of Tianjin Urban Construction University to form an interdisciplinary and multi-platform research team with Beijing 恒挚 Technology Co. Its research direction focuses on architectural human factors, exploring the influence of human physiological and psychological characteristics on the use and design of architectural space; studying architectural psychology and environment, analyzing the role of architectural style and color matching on emotions and behaviors; and focusing on biomechanics, optimizing the mechanical relationship between architectural facilities and human movement. The laboratory aims to further promote the research of multidisciplinary cross-fertilization and meet the social demand for comfortable, efficient and healthy building environment. In the future, the lab will actively carry out scientific research projects, initiate key topics such as comfort enhancement of the built environment and biomechanical optimization of building facilities, expect to publish several high-quality academic papers, and apply scientific research results to actual engineering projects to provide professional support for the construction industry, and at the same time lay the foundation for applying for higher-level scientific research projects or funds.

Mr. Li Jiahua, General Manager of Beijing 恒挚 Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the company's profound accumulation in the field of human factors engineering.
