On July 18-19, 2025, "2025 Project Management Young Scholars' Forum", organized by Project Management Technology Magazine of Mechanical Industry Information Research Institute, co-sponsored by Engineering Construction Management Committee of China Society for Technical Economics and Engineering Management Branch of Management Science and Engineering Society, and hosted by Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, was successfully held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The "2025 Project Management Young Scholars Forum" was successfully held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. More than 200 young experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, Tongji University, the University of Hong Kong, University College London (UCL) and other more than 100 domestic and international well-known colleges and universities, research institutions and enterprises attended the forum. With the theme of "AI+ Empowers Project Management Innovation and Sustainable Development", the forum covers two major directions: general project management and engineering project management, aiming at exploring how AI can change the whole life-cycle management of projects, and exploring a new paradigm of project management and a new path of sustainable development under the drive of digital intelligence technology. The forum covered one keynote forum, nine thematic sub-forums and five postgraduate forums, with a total of more than 120 presentations.
On the morning of July 19, the opening ceremony of the forum was hosted by Prof. Xu Youjun, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology. Prof. Li Weiping, Vice President of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, delivered a speech.
