

On August 22-24, 2025, the Academic Exchange Conference on Cross-Fusion of Biomechanics and Human Factors Engineering 2025 of the Chinese Ergonomics Society was held in Xi'an. The conference was hosted by the Biomechanics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics, organized by the Air Force Medical University-Air Force Specialty Medical Center, and sponsored by the Occupational Ergonomics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics, the Management Ergonomics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics, the Intelligent Wearable and Clothing Ergonomics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics, the Transportation Ergonomics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics, the Nearly 200 representatives from national universities, research institutes and enterprises attended the meeting.

The theme of this conference is "Gathering Strength, Converging Intelligence, Integrating Innovation", which is aimed at focusing on the research and application fields of biomechanics and human factors engineering, creating a multidisciplinary cross-fertilization and innovative practice, sharing the latest research results of academia and industry, exchanging experiences of writing and submitting core journals and SCI papers, and setting up an interdisciplinary and open and inclusive academic exchange platform for the majority of scholars and technicians in the fields of industry, academia, and research. Prof. Guo Fu from Northeastern University, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Ergonomics and member of the Teaching Guidance Committee of Industrial Engineering of the Ministry of Education, and Prof. Liu Xiaopeng, Deputy Director of the Air Force Specialty Medical Center, attended the conference and delivered speeches respectively. Presentations & Forums
The conference opened four thematic venues and carried out 20 high-quality presentations on hot issues including artificial intelligence, biomechanics, sports health, human factors medicine, automobile manufacturing, aerospace and marine human factors, social human factors and other disciplines and industrial development research and applications.
In addition, two academic forums were specially set up for the conference, including the Thesis Presentation Session and the SCI Theme Roundtable Session, aiming to provide a communication platform for young and middle-aged scholars to present their research results and expand their ideas of scientific writing. Deputy Editor-in-Chief Zhang Shulin and Deputy Editor-in-Chief Zhang Xiangyang presided over the Thesis Session, and Prof. Zhang Wei presided over the SCI Theme Roundtable Session.

The conference also held a paper award ceremony, and 23 papers were recognized as outstanding papers of the conference.




The successful organization of this conference has set up a high-level dialogue platform spanning biomechanics, health medicine, ergonomics design, information fusion and other disciplines, and deeply stimulated the kinetic energy of cross-field synergistic innovation. 1 keynote report, 12 conference reports, 20 thematic reports, 23 excellent thesis exchanges, SCI forums, and technical achievement exhibitions have systematically sorted out key scientific issues and cutting-edge technology routes of biomechanics and human factors engineering in the major national needs such as health China, intelligent manufacturing, rehabilitation medicine, aerospace and marine research.
