Background to the Forum

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an important driving force of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, as well as the focus of future international competition and a new engine of economic development.

Tianjin has 56 colleges and universities, including Tianjin University and Nankai University, and has gathered more than 170 national institutes and domestic high-level R&D organizations. In order to implement the "Ten Actions" of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, fully mobilize the advantages of science and education resources in Tianjin, closely integrate the scientific research of universities with the city's industries, promote the high-quality development of the regional AI industry, help the construction of Tianjin's AI Pioneer City, and create an industrial system led by the demonstration of intelligent science and technology, we are going to establish the AI Pioneer City in Tianjin.The "CEC Tianjin Artificial Intelligence Dean's Forum" will be held on April 12, 2024 at the Tianjin (Binhai) Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center under the theme of "Wisdom Starts Binhai City and Creates the Future Together"..

This forum aims to bring together the core expert resources in the field of artificial intelligence in Tianjin, introduce various innovative subjects, discuss in depth the latest research progress and scientific research results of artificial intelligence in Tianjin, comprehensively buttress the domestic industry resources in this field, the dynamics of industrial development and demand, and talk about the development of science and technology, promote the transformation of achievements, and promote the innovation of application scenarios.

The event will invite core experts in the field of artificial intelligence, scientific research teams, entrepreneurs in related application industries, investment institutions, etc. to gather together to discuss in depth the latest domestic and international research progress, scientific research achievements, dynamics and needs of industrial development in artificial intelligence, virtual reality and human-computer interaction, cognitive intelligence and group intelligence, big data and big models, intelligent unmanned systems and other technologies.
